In 2014, the APAHA Amateur Committee was formed as a means of bringing ideas and issues forward as a unified voice of the amateur community. This committee discusses issues that impact the amateur Arabian horse owner, ideas that can further the amateur owner experience and do so in cooperation with the overall objectives of the APAHA membership and its Board of Directors.
This committee will mainly communicate via email and occasionally have informal meetings at such events as the U.S. Nationals and AHA Convention. A steering committee, established by the two Co-Chairs will be formed early 2014 as well. This group will help facilitate the ideas and actions brought forward by the larger committee.
Anyone is who an amateur and a member of APAHA is welcome to join. We are a unified, cooperative and positive group of amateurs whose interest is to bring forth positive ideas and solutions to help further the Arabian breed and the amateur experience.
