What are some of the highlights and successful moments in the 2015 show season for you?
It’s a combination of our group of reiners being successful at the National level in both the open and Amateur classes. In addition, breeding two reiners who ended up third in both the purebred and half Arab futurities. It’s also been a highlight bringing a number of new youth and Amateur working western riders to the reining pen.
Who has been your biggest influence in the Arabian breed in getting you to where you are today?
There have been a number of people in the NRHA who have been influential. In the ARHA, both Crystal McNutt and Tyson Randle have helped me in many regards.
Name one show ring quirk you have:
I used to be very superstitious. But after those good luck charms lost their charm, I realized it was preparation and how you respond to pressure that contribute most to success.
