Describe your involvement in the Arabian horse breed as a volunteer, and what your accomplishments are:
I have been president of the Diablo Arabian Horse Association. The association puts on two shows a year, one in the spring and one in the fall. I have been a delegate on their board for ten years. I volunteered to coach the Fresno State College Women’s Equestrian Team. I volunteered to sell food at the Golden Gate Horse Race Track, Race Days to raise money for the Diablo Arabian Horse Association.
What are some of the highlights and successful moments involving the Arabian horse for you in 2015?
One the of best moments of 2015 was when Garrison DGL won the Half Arabian Hunter Pleasure Select at the US Nationals. Another highlight was winning the Half Arabian Trail Horse Open and the Purebred Arabian Trail Horse Open at the Canadian Nationals.

Who has been your biggest influence in the Arabian breed in getting you to where you are today?
I grew up riding with Mike & Cheryl Folsom from a very young age. They taught me that each horse is an individual and the best way to ensure the horse reaches its full potential is to modify my style of training to suit the horse.

I touch my hat every time I show a horse.
