1.) What are some of the highlights and successful moments in the 2015 show season for you?
My favorite moment of the 2015 show season was unanimously winning the Half-Arabian Park Horse championship at Youth Nationals. This was particularly special because it was my last ride as a junior exhibitor, and I had always dreamed of showing in that class. Another memorable moment was winning the Half-Arabian Country JTR 15-18 championship, with Captivating Shoc WA, at Scottsdale. This was very meaningful because it was my first show competing with my newest partner, “Cappy.”
2.) Who has been your biggest influence in the Arabian breed in getting you to where you are today?
There are so many individuals that have greatly influenced my riding career, so I am unable to name just one. I am very grateful for everyone who has helped me develop my riding skills, and grow as a person, throughout my involvement with the Arabian breed.
3.) If someone were to describe you, what would they say about you?
They would say that I am extremely dedicated, hard working, passionate, and that I care deeply for my horses.
4.) Name one show ring quirk you have:
I wouldn’t say that I have a show ring quirk, but my horse, Nutcracker Sweet PF, most definitely does! Every since “Peanut” was broke to ride, she has had the unique quirk of continuously sneezing while she canters.
