1.) What are some of the highlights and successful moments in the 2015 show season for you?
The highlight of this show season for me was being named National Champion in the Half-Arabian Reining Amateur Rookie class in my first year of showing reining with I’m Genuinely Oz after working very hard all year to learn this new discipline. Other highlights were winning Region 9 Half Arabian Working Cow AOTR with KK Chics Patriot after being Reserve the year before, and very special to me was going Reserve National Champion Half-Arabian Halter Mares AOTH with The Mighty Mac, receiving Top Ten in a super competitive Half-Arabian English Pleasure AOTR 19-39 Class with Lady Masaryk and winning the purebred Ladies Side Saddle Open at Region 12 with CSP Layla.
2.) Who has been your biggest influence in the Arabian breed in getting you to where you are today?
John and Lisa White taught me to be competitive, what it takes to be part of a winning team, and attention to detail in every aspect of showing; Cecile Dunn with her dedication to the breed and promotion of breed standards.
3.) If someone were to describe you, what would they say about you?
She is quiet but competitive, and above all she loves her horses.
4.) Name one show ring quirk you have:
I like to be first through the gate (when things are going well).
