1.) Describe your involvement in the Arabian horse breed as a volunteer, and what your accomplishments are:
My husband and I always do everything we can to help out our local club and show. We always volunteer to do what is necessary to help them be a success. I am in charge of and sponsor the ever successful and fun dog races at our local shows and Region 4. We feel Region 4 has always been a great success and last year, we had about 35 well tuned and ready to rumble dogs participate in our now, semi-famous Dog Races. Many prizes were awarded and it was a great success. We are looking forward to having even more participants competing for the “Title” as the fasting dog in Region 4.
2.) What are some of the highlights and successful moments involving the Arabian horse for you in 2015?
My biggest highlight of the year was definitely winning the Purebred Hunter Pleasure 36-54 at U.S. Nationals. After owning and showing such a great horse named CA Ultimo++//, you always wonder if you will ever find another one. Winning a U.S. National Championship with RD Nevaska++// was a thrill of a lifetime. Those wins are always very special to me because I train my own horses. I also had some great wins this year on my Half-Arab mare named I’m Dancin.
3.) If someone were to describe you, what would they say about you?
Determined to do great things and help others be successful too.
